Solar Energy is the best solution to overcome the Energy Crisis.
According to survey Sun produces so much energy in One Hour that if it is stored it is enough for the Global Needs for one year. So why not make use of Solar Energy in Pakistan which is Long Lasting instead of using any other form of Energy.
To overcome the energy crisis by use of Solar Energy there are some steps which are very easy to follow
In Western world Governments of different countries give Tax credit to their Public who use Solar Energy to encourage the use of Solar Energy which is enviornment friendly.
While in our Pakistan we have huge taxes on the import of Solar products. Government should reduce all the taxes on the import of Solar Product and if possible use our natural resources of Quartz and Silica to make our own Solar Panels and be the exporter of this product.
To make Solar Energy Popular in Pakistan and accessible for Public
PEPCO with the help of Banks should give the Solar Loan to its citizen to lease the Solar Products. As we all know that Banks give the loan to people for Car Leasing and its the necessity of some but its also a luxury in a sense also is a source of Pollution and a form of congestion on our roads. Sometimes people don't give this money back to the Banks so its a risk and loss for our Banks.
If the money used by Banks for Car Leasing is used to give Solar Loan which is easy to recover for Banks because everybody is consumer of electricity and pay bills of electricity every month so instead of paying Electricity Bills Public can pay installments of Solar Loan. Which is easy to recover than Car loans and much enviornment friendly.
The other benefit of this will be that we will have Less Pollution and Less Congestion on our roads. Along with the Solar Loan Scheme Government should also encourage people to use Public Transport and should improve the standard of Public Transport and should give the facility of Public Transport to Public in Every City of Pakistan with the help of Private sector. This will also overcome the shortage of CNG and other fuels and in result will decrease the fuel prices.
A large amount of Electricity is used by Telecommunication Poles and Transmission system used by Mobile Companies such as UFone, Telenor, Warid, Jazz etc These Poles should be installed at least one mile away from the Populated area because the Radioactive Rays transmitted from these are hazardous for Health. But these are installed in almost everywhere in Populated area.
These poles not only hazardous for health but also consuming a large amount of fuel and electricity and earning a large amount of money.
Government should take the step and must not provide the electricity to these Poles and must force these companies to produce their own Solar Electricity not only for themselves but also for the local area where these Poles are located Because they are already playing with the health of public and also using their electricity so at least public should get some benefit from them.
This will also benefit these companies to be independent in their own energy by making their own electricity Hence no budget for their electricity bills. Also This will in result have a flow of saved energy in the Electricity system from the Telecommunication companies for the use of domestic and industrial Level.
Production of Solar Energy on Domestic Level by use of Solar Products and also on the Industrial Level will in result reduce shortage of Electricity but also provide flow of extra electricity in the Electricity system.
All these Steps are easy to follow if our Leadership is sincere to its Public and thinks for the benefit of Public.
